Most of our members work regularly for an
individual company or are busy free-lancers. Some have time available in
their schedule during which they can consider additional work. Tour
operators looking for additional staff are welcome to contact our members to
offer them work assignments.
You may contact our members to let them know of
employment opportunities in either of two ways:
-
You may
contact the guides listed on our
Available Guides page directly. Each
has some current availability and has authorized us to print the
information shown on that page.
-
You may
send us an email of your guide requirements which we will forward by our own combined email and fax
distribution list to the vast majority of our members. We will also post
the information on the "Job Opportunities" page of the "Members Only" section of
this web site. The "Job Opportunities" page can only be seen by our
members, not by the public. Just click
on our address:

Disclaimer
The Canadian Tour Guide Association of Toronto is not an employment
agency. It provides this job and guide listing service on an "as is" basis.
It does not make recommendations of any specific guide and it offers no guarantees that the
Tour Operator will be satisfied that the guide they hire will be the one who
was best suited to their position. We trust that Tour Operators, once they
have contacted our member(s), will use their normal interview and screening
processes to assure the highest degree of satisfaction with the person(s)
chosen.
